As I continue my never-ending search for new flowers to fold, I keep wondering how many more unique structures I will be able to find - most flowers vary simply in the number and color of the petals they contain (the differentiation in petal-shape being slight enough to avoid capturing my interest as a new origami design construction). Sometimes I have to stare at a picture for awhile before inspiration hits, as with this flower - after a certain amount of concerted concentration focused on this seeming "blob" of a flower, I realized that this cornflower could provide an interesting challenge in balancing the number of outer six-petal clusters against the number of interior filaments.
